Art to Wear holds group meetings throughout the year. Meetings are held either at the College of Textiles or the College of Design. There are separate committees that oversee all aspects of the show headed by our team of directors. To become a committee head or director contact us at the start of the semester.
Committees
Fundraising: compiles press packages to distribute to potential sponsors for supporting the current year's show, maintains finances through budget management, and notifies committee heads about available funds
Graphics: assists the graphic designer in creating the identity for Art to Wear that is expressed through programs/posters/invitations/t-shirts/bandanas
Jurying: organizes the selection of the jurors and coordinates Art to Wear's annual designer selection process
Arrangements: responsible for reservations including show day location, rental equipment, parking and overall production of the show
Photography/Video: coordinates photography and videography for documentation of the show, complies all footage and images for distribution to designers, etc.
Website: organizes, updates, and maintains the website.
Additional volunteers are always needed up to the day of the show.
